Setting the Mayfly RTC (real-time clock) is an important first step before calibrating and deploying the dataloggers. This entails installing a CR1220 watch battery on the datalogger, sending code to the Mayfly, and running an application on you computer while the code is running. Once this step is complete, the RTC will run continuously - DO NOT REMOVE THE BATTERY AFTER SETTING THE CLOCK. Removing the battery will reset the clock and you will have to re-do this step.
